Grief Movement Workshop & Sessions

Where grief is felt, honoured, and gently released through the body, grief doesn’t live only in our thoughts—it lives in our bodies. Drawing on somatic awareness, intuitive movement, breathwork, grounding practices, and psychospiritual care, Grief Movement invites participants to listen to what their bodies have been holding—sometimes for far longer than words can reach. Join us to explore these healing practices and support your journey through grief.

The Grief Movement Workshops are gentle, trauma-informed and spiritually and culturally-informed experiences designed to help the participants reconnect with their body while honouring their grief in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. It is also well-suited for working with cultural, organizational, and collective grief, including grief related to systemic harm, historical trauma, moral injury, and ongoing social or institutional change. These offerings acknowledge that grief is often shared, layered, and shaped by broader social and cultural realities—not just personal loss. Whether you're experiencing personal, cultural, or collective grief, these workshops can support your healing process.

These 60 to 90-minute sessions can be facilitated in person or virtually. Grief Movement sessions can be facilitated as individual one-on-one experiences, small-group offerings, or large-group and organizational workshops for communities, workplaces, and care-based settings. Each session is thoughtfully adapted to meet the unique needs of the individual or group, with the same emphasis on safety, accessibility, and trauma-informed care.

Each workshop is intentionally paced and accessible, offering options for seated or standing movement, as well as moments of reflection and integration. Whether facilitated in a shared physical space or online, you will never be asked to share more than you feel comfortable with. You don’t need any movement experience to participate, creating a space where everyone feels welcome and free to be themselves.
